I was approached by a family studio named 'Maho-Teki productions' to be an illustrator for their comic book script 'Thia of Tukton'. Here is the final cover page.
The first step of illustrating the comic was to design the main characters. Seen below are my initial character design sheets for the main cast of the story-
Step 2 was conceptualizing the world and animals on the Corupan planet-
After finalizing the designs for everything, I moved on to working on thumbnail sketches of each page. This would help us decide exactly what every panel should show, without spending too much time on unnecessary detailing.
After finalizing the content of each page, I made full (a4) sized pencil sketches on paper which would then be digitized and coloured on the iPad Pro using Procreate. Each of these 3 steps can be seen below with one of the pages-
